Background
VHA meets their goals through advocacy, education, events, and outreach, however their website and visual identity struggled to effectively communicate their brand as the leading organization for housing equality in Virginia.
Design Process
With VHA's mission at the forefront of our design strategy, we created a new logo and brand guidelines that presented a cleaner, more professional appearance for the organization. In combination with renewed visual identity, we rebuilt their website to improve and expand VHA's ability to communicate organization news, provide educational materials, accept online donations, and organize events.
We also built this project with a final handoff to the organization in mind. The website and brand materials were developed with scalability and accessibility in mind, so that our client felt confident using their new branding and website. We accompanied this intentionality with training and documentation for the VHA team to further empower them in their ownership of the new materials.
Below is a selection of pages from the VHA website in a before-and-after format to illustrate the enhancements in branding, content organization, and clarity of messaging achieved by our redesign.
